FOUNDER & SENIOR PASTOR

Bishop Sidney P. Malone is an internationally-known Prophetic Trailblazer, Artist, and Developer of Leaders. He has traveled around the world preaching, teaching and helping individuals maximize their Purposes and Passions. He is known for delivering a “life-changing revelatory” Word which challenges old mindsets and encourages Authentic Relationship with GOD and HIS People.

 

He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 1990 and a Master of Science in Education Administration & Supervision with a concentration in Crisis Counseling in 1992 from the University of Memphis. In 2004, he received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Saint Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville, FL. Bishop Malone is also a 2009 Spring graduate of Leadership Memphis; a prestigious organization designed to recognize the future leaders of Memphis, Tennessee and is affiliated with Coaching Compass Association. He currently serves as the Chaplain of the Shelby County Tennessee Board of Commissioners and City of Memphis Mayoral Advisory Board. He is also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated and a host of other civic organizations.

 

Bishop Sidney P. Malone is a trendsetter. He dedicated his life to CHRIST at a young age and in 1990, he founded and began pastoring New Growth In Christ Christian Center! He has been preaching the gospel over 40 years and despite several obstacles, NGIC continues to be a thriving, unconventional place of worship with over 800 members and e-members. With over 33 years as Senior Pastor, Bishop Malone’s heart is to serve, teach and train leaders to fulfill their designed Destiny and to minister GOD’s Word, so that the applied Word of GOD can prosper them in every area of their lives: Spiritually, Mentally, Physically and Financially.  In addition, he is an Apostle and Spiritual Father to over 30 sons and daughters in ministry, nationally and internationally.

 

In 2016, Apostle Malone was consecrated to Bishop with International Bishops Conference Incorporated (+I+B+C+, Inc.) under the leadership of Archbishop LeRoy Bailey, Jr., where he serves as a member of the Executive Council. Bishop Malone is also affiliated with Global United Fellowship (GUF); a Christian fellowship of over 1,800 churches worldwide. Under the leadership of Presiding Bishop Joel Peebles, Sr., Bishop Malone serves on the Executive Council as the Director of Business Enterprise to help bridge the gap and create synergies between the Kingdom and business organizations.

 

Bishop Sidney P. Malone is considered by many to be a relative and forward-thinking Leadership Expert. Also known as Dr. Sid, he is a certified Executive Leadership Consultant and the Founder & CEO of Malone Consulting Group. With decades of experience, he has a keen understanding and insight for developing practical solutions and step-by-step strategies. He is recognized as a skilled Leadership Trainer, Motivational Speaker and Workshop Facilitator, counseling leaders across the nation. His latest book entitled, "Motivation In A Minute" is available at AskDrSid.com. In addition, he is the host of a nationally-known radio podcast entitled “Life Coach Corner with Dr. Sid” on WHAL 95.7 Hallelujah FM which airs nationally on iHeart Radio every Monday at 6:00 PM CT. It can also be enjoyed on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music and Spotify.

 

Born and raised in Memphis TN, his passion for music, family and equality runs deep. He is a proficient pianist and organist, and has released several musical projects along with accompanying many well-known artists, pastors, musicians and record labels. Bishop Sidney P. Malone is married to his beautiful wife, First Lady Leslie Malone, and the proud parent of four girls, a son and three precious granddaughters.
